One week till Ranger Sarah is back in uniform!
Until then, a lot of writing, working, packing, and wishing I could go back to the woods. And apparently blowing my nose, because I seem to be coming down with a cold.
Hi! My name is Sarah. I’m 22 and I originally hail from Kansas. In recent years, I’ve lived in Washington D.C., the Appalachians of Georgia, and Bellingham, WA, and spent three summers as a Ranger on Mount St. Helens. I currently live in the Oregon high desert, working as an environmental educator and teaching students about paleontology, ecology, astronomy, and all other manner of natural history while singing lots of silly songs.
Along with hiking and exploring the world, I love to bake (some days this is a food blog), play guitar, and be Jewish. Come say hello!
